· Profile
· I am a surgical oncologist, which is to say that I am a physician who treats cancer with surgery. I have done additional specialty training solely in cancer surgery at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and have been in practice since 1998. My philosophy of cancer care is that although the individual expertise of your primary cancer physician is obviously important, the best outcomes usually come from consensus decisions based on active discussion of patient cases with other expert physicians in a multidisciplinary setting.
